Healthy Foods and Restaurants in NYC
Without a doubt The Pump Restaurant offers the widest variety, freshest and most nutritious combinations of low fat meals I've had the pleasure of experiencing.
You can bulk up, get lean and simply maintain a healthy lifestyle depending on which meals you choose and what type of plan you're on.
To start off my day I like the super balanced baked omelet #87. It has added turkey breast peices, vegies and you can opt for non fat mozzarella or Soy.
A great midmorning snack is the sugar and fat free apple pie with Designer Protein. For Lunch I love Plate #48, The Thunder, which is grilled chicken breast with onions, tomatoes, peppers and low sodium tomato sauce topped with spinach and a choice of brown rice on the side.
By midafternoon you'll be ready for a healthy treat. My fave is Chocolate Designer Protein with rice milk.
And finally, for a tasty dinner try the Lean and Mean (Plate #58), which is grilled chicken breast over steamed vegetables. Its even better topped with a scoop of Lentil soup.

Boston Markets fresh roasted turkey with steamed vegies and or green beans provides for a good lunch meal.
Pick your favourite Chinese Restaurant and order a steamed chicken, beef or seafood combo with steamed mixed veg. Great for Lunch with steamed brown rice or for dinner, but hold the rice.
Cosi' have some awesome salads. To up the protein value make sure you ask for extra ham, beef, egg, low fat cheese or a combination of all four.
Wholefoods in Chelsea or at the new Time Warner building have a hot and cold buffet packed with freshly cooked & raw vegetables, beans, meats and various other exotic vegetarian dishes. Make your own meal or two for the go. Visit www.wholefoods.com for various other locations throughout NY and NJ.
