The Natural
The key to Natural Bodybuilding success.
BALANCE IN NUTRITION AND BODYPART TRAINING.
Ideally train each bodypart twice a week. If you have weaknesses then train them first and intensify your focus in these areas, varying your routine constantly. Eat a balance and variety of different proteins, fats and carbohydrates every day. Just as the same workouts will not produce substantial results, eating the same ('ol chicken and rice) foods, day in day out, will hinder progress as well.
SCULPTING.
As a natural bodybuilder view your body as art. Projecting and aiming for strength, athleticism, definition, muscularity, balance, symmetry and aesthetics.
YOU ARE YOUR OWN BEST CRITIC.
If you have high standards, and know your body, and how to change it for the better, then you are the best judge of your progress, and your path to success.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Are crucial to your success. They are your role models, mentors, trainers, motivaters, personal chefs, counselers. Take advantage of their love and knowledge and you will be many steps ahead of the game.
GET A LIFE.
Enjoy other aspects of living naturally. Travel, go for bushwalks, take 1 - 2 weeks off training every 12 weeks , enjoy freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice twice a day, read, go dancing, cycle, walk, play tennis, golf, baseball and soccer, learn new sports, and treat family and friends to a BBQ at your place and a game of ping pong.
GOAL SETTING.
Set yourself a bodybuilding competition a good 6 months to a year ahead of time. Attend as many amateur and professional natural bodybuilding shows as possible. Pose as soon as you get home from each show, placing your competitors next to you in the mirror. When its time to compete, know that you will place very high, if not win, and totally commit yourself to it. Be in lean, muscular shape at least 8 weeks out, so you can fine tune your condition if need be. On show day, cover up as much as possible, but back stage, unleash your physique, and pump up and pose just enough to psyche out your competitors.
Enjoy your natural adventures and let me know how you progress.
